(“MARE OWNER”) AND JLH Ranch
("Stallion Owner") This Certifies that ________________________, herein referred to as the Mare Owner, has engaged one service to the Mare, __________________ registration#___________ To Catch A Clu for the 2007 breeding season using ___Cooled___Frozen transported semen. The service is subjected to the following conditions: 1.In order to make this a valid contract the following fees must be paid:
The Stallion breeding fee is $875 .00, which includes a non – refundable – booking fee of $250.00 in order to make this a valid contract. The balance shall be payable at a minimum of ten (10) days in advance before shipping will take place. 2. JLH Ranch will begin shipping cooled/frozen shipped semen on February 01, 2008 and will terminate all shipping on July 15 , 2008. If the mare is not check in foal by July 15 , 2007 the Mare Owner will have the option to receive cooled/frozen shipped semen in the breeding year of 2008. (Veterinarian will bill Mare Owner) 3. A $____________ shipping fee will be charged. This will include two shipments of cooled/frozen semen via overnight service. If the mare doesn’t catch within two shipments, the Mare Owner will be responsible for shipping, collection fees and all veterinarian fees. (Veterinarian will bill Mare Owner). JLH Ranch will collect from the Stallion every other day. If you need cooled/frozen semen on off days prior arrangements will be necessary. If cooled semen is needed for a Saturday delivery, the extra cost will be at the Mare Owners expense. 4. If Mare Owner chooses to pick-up semen from collection site, they must have the proper and current papers with them at that time. JLH Ranch will be responsible for any additional collection fees. 5 . A request for shipment for cooled/frozen semen must be made at least 48 hours, prior to shipping time. Cancellation must be made by 7:00 AM shipping day. 6. A $250.0000 deposit for the equitainer must be made payable by separate check. Upon receipt of the equitainer back to JLH Ranch, the check will be voided and returned to the Mare Owner. If the Mare Owner owns a equitainer, it must be in the possession of JLH ranch fourty-eight (48) hours prior to the shipping day. 7. Owner or manager shall be responsible for returning the equitainer in a timely manner (2) days, If the equitainer is not returned within two (2) days, a $25.00 per day rental fee will be charged. 8. A breeding Certificate will be issued to the Mare Owner upon notification of foaling and all expenses have been satisfied. 9. Both parties acknowledge that this agreement is entered into and shall be entirely performed within the State of Oregon and shall be construed and enforced under the laws of Oregon. 10. This contract becomes binding upon the receipt of a $250.00 non-refundable deposit and signature of the Mare Owner. 11. This contract is NOT transferable or assignable. 12. It is agreed by both parties that if Catch A Clu dies or becomes unfit for breeding OR if the Mare dies or becomes unfit for breeding that this contract becomes null and void. 13. A photo static copy of the registration papers (both sides) or the above-mentioned mare must accompany the signed contract. Owner recorded on the Stallion Breeding Report.
